Our MRI compatible wheelchairs are constructed of non-ferrous materials. They are specifically designed for use in and around the MR suite. All materials including fasteners and bearings are either non-ferrous metals or special non-magnetic polymers and are latex free. These chairs are available in 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″ and 26″ widths. Chair weight capacities ranging from 250 lbs to 550 lbs to accommodate patient needs. Storage pocket on rear of the wheelchair has “MR” prominently displayed, reducing the chance it will be confused with standard magnetic chairs or lost to other departments.
